Stone's Pet Shop - Pacific Grove at 1122 Forest Avenue, Pacific Grove, California.

First off, the reason I rated the "Appeal" as "Very Good" instead of excellent is because this is not a couture pet boutique that you might find in Carmel. Instead, it is manned by very friendly and knowledgeable people who can give you educated advice ranging from what food you should give your hamster to fitting your dog for a harness (see other review). They also have a couple of groomers on board now, and I've heard that they are very good.

Anyway, their little space is crammed with high-quality pet diets & products. They sell crickets too. If you don't see what you want, you can ask the staff and they will often check their storage area or make a special order for you. Realize that Stone's carries predominantly pet PRODUCTS and does not sell animals (...although I think that they have some birds for sale?). It's a great place.

Great customer service and amazing food options for all our animals! I would suggest everyone support this small business versus the big box stores.

I loved this place before the owner, Sharon passed away.
Now, something is off about the place...but then again, the whole town of Pacific Grove is like going back in time...not a good thing for women or human rights.
I am not sure what the problems are, but I bet that those that own and run P.G. and Stone's pets know!
